What is a Declined Order?

A declined order notification means that your bank has rejected our request to debit your credit card for a number of possible reasons which includes: insufficient funds, cancelled card or a incorrect expiry date.

First Time Purchasers

Its too easy!   Simply place your items into your basket.  After completing your selection proceed to checkout. 

At this stage you must register as a user. Start of by adding your email and click on continue.  Proceed by adding in your personal details including your password and billing information.

On the next page you get to confirm your details, then proceed by making payment before submitting your order.

You will get an automated email confirming we have received your order and a further email when we have processed your order.

Processing and viewing your orders

We only charge your credit card when your items are in stock and ready to ship.  We never charge you upfront or take deposits against your orders.

You will always receive a email confirming that your order has been received by MovieXpress showing the items you have ordered together with pricing and a order number reference for your information.

Tax Invoices:  A further email together with your electronic tax invoice will be sent when your order has been processed.

To view your pending or shipped orders, simply log onto our site and click on “My Account” From here you can view your details including any “Orders Pending”.  You can Cancel Orders and change any of your personal details.

Returns Policy

If you have changed your mind or your item/s are faulty, MovieXpress is always happy to credit or exchange any unopened items within 14 days of delivery.

All items sent back to MovieXpress must clearly contain a Returns Authorisation Number (RA No.) on the back on the envelope which is issued by our customer care team.

All stock returned to MovieXpress must be received back in pristine condition and in the event it is damaged, we reserve the right not to accept these items and have them returned to you.

All postage costs incurred during the return process will be at the customers’ expense.

Contact Customer Returns (by email at returns@moviexpress.com.au) with your order number, items you want returned and a brief explanation of  why you want to return.  We will then contact you with instructions on how to return together with a RA No.

Order Cancellations

If we have not processed your order you may cancel or change your orders online at any time by logging on to the website with your email and password.    Go to “My Account” click on “Pending Orders” and from there you can cancel individual items or complete orders.

For offline orders please email customercare@moviexpress.com.au or alternatively call us on (08) 7071 0701. It is imperative that you allow 48 hours notice prior to shipping to guarantee offline order cancellations.

Does the item price include GST?

Yes, we include GST in the price for every item.

I haven't received a reply to my email, why?

We endeavour to respond to all emails within 48 hours (Mon - Fri) however more often you will receive a response within 24 hours.

Product that 'Usually Ships Within 5-10 Days'

Items displaying this status are currently not in stock. As we order from suppliers daily it could be that stock for this item is on its way to our warehouse. All orders displaying this status are not charged a shipping fee and we do not charge you until your item/s are ready to ship. 5-10 days is an estimate and quite often items are already on order and may ship earlier then stated. You will automatically be notified the moment we ship your order.

Estimated International Delivery Times

International orders are shipped by Australian Air Mail with delivery times averaging between 21-28 days. Occasionally international mail may experience unexpected delays for various reasons which could delay delivery times further. Unfortunately these delays are beyond our control and in such cases we ask that you allow 5 weeks before we order an investigation for any late delivery.

Customs Information

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are charged once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you.

To avoid any unexpected costs we recommend that you check with your local customs office or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your order.

All international orders are ship with a customs declaration that requires us to state the value of the order.  It is recommended that you keep your orders to a minimum to avoid import duties.

DVD Information

What is region coding?

When a DVD disc is manufactured, a region code is applied at the authoring stage as to not allow this DVD to be played in any other territory then what it is intended for.

There are 8 region codes in use throughout the world:

Region 1 - Canada, United States
Region 2 - Europe, Western Asia, Egypt, Japan, South Africa, UK
Region 3 - Southeast Asia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan
Region 4 - Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America,
Region 5 - Africa, Central and South Asia, Belarus, Mongolia, North Korea,
Region 6 - Mainland China
Region 7 - Not In Use
Region 8 - International venues such as aircraft, cruise ships, etc.

Some DVDs may be encoded as Region 0, or Region All. These DVDs are compatible throughout regions 1-6.

Blu-ray discs are also region encoded, with the following regions codes:

Region A - Americas, East and Southeast Asia, U.S. territories, Bermuda
Region B - Africa, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania, Middle East, Netherlands,  French territories, Greenland
Region C - Central and South Asia, Mongolia, Russia, China

Some Blu-ray discs may also be Multi-region, ie A, B or C. These play in all regions.

Why is my DVD not shrink-wrapped?

Not all distributors shrink-wrap their product. Music titles and many of the budget titles are often not shrink-wrapped, however we guarantee that all product shipped from our distribution centre is brand new.
